Karen's Diet Diary Entry 3

Now, that I am in San Luis Obispo, I have had to adopt a slightly different routine to meet my goals. Although we don't have GATOR mountain here, we do have something as good called TIGER mountain!

Here are a few pictures of part of the workout that Scott and I are doing every day!

I am eating some strange stuff to lose weight in the picture below. If you are interested in how I am losing weight check out this link to how my dad lost 180 lbs a bunch of years ago! My diet has more protein, but the principles are the same. the IRRESISTIBLE DIET!



OK... I have been holding out on you.
I haven't shared with you one of my
diet secrets.
They are called "vegetables". I really don't know much about them, but if you eat a lot of them then you
are too full to eat real food like ice cream and steak!
 
Our high school has a seldom used set of stairs
between the high school and the district office.
From an exercise and conditioning point of view,
these are great! Here's my cousin Scott hitting
every step as he runs "
TIGER MOUNTAIN"!
 
Well, you have seen Gator Mountain. Here in San Luis Obispo, we have Tiger Mountain and it's a bit steeper and a lot of FUN!

Come join us! We always have room for one more!
 

Scott isn't 'sweating'... those are tear stains of happiness!
He just LOOOOVES Tiger Mountain!
He always says,
"Karen, can we run Tiger Mountain one more time?"
This is part of every workout for me! Don't you just love running stairs?
 
Here's a couple of Pictures of my cousin Scott doing a bit of throwing.
His coach at Santa Barbara has given him a great workout for the summer and encouraged
him to add to it if he felt energetic.

Well, Scott caught me at the end of my throw. I wanted to add this in to let you know that I have already lost a bunch of inches and weight. My conditioning program is really paying off!

I have some big goals, wish me luck!
