Rachel put the Lady Gators on the scoreboard by improving on last year's 7th place finish to take 4th for 5 points.  Rachel overcame very hot, windless conditions to pop a 177-4.   Dore' had some great throws in the prelims, but didn't get a big one this time around in the finals.

Dore' throws over 168 in the prelims.	Rachel looks pretty happy at the conclusion of the competition.

The 2003 NCAA Champion in the discus was Penn State's Deshaya Williams.  Penn State wins
the prize for the loudest cheering section, too!  You can click here to see a video of Deshaya's
winning throw, as well as Rachel's and Dore's best throws.
