In this issue, you'll travel with us to Philadelphia for the famous Penn Relays!  Once again, Candice extended her NCAA Hammer record....pushing the mark out another ten inches to an awesome 223-10!   And guess what?  Candice is only a SOPHOMORE this outdoor season!  Where will that record be when she graduates?

LEFT: Our travels to Philadelphia started off interestingly enough in Jacksonville, Florida. We ended up running to the plane and somehow poor Candice got left behind!

Not to worry, the very resourceful Candice hitched a ride on a later plane and arrived in time to extend her Collegiate Hammer Record!

(We think the other guys in the picture
are from Florida State!
YIKES!)

RIGHT: My 4th Place Medal in the
Championship Shot! :)  The Penn Relays people put on a classy meet.

Q: How does it feel to set a new collegiate and Carnival record on your first attempt?
A: It's great, (but) I think I could have done (better). I'm happy, but not satisfied.
