Background
A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (actually…Pasadena, California) I was born. Sometime after that, between a short jaunt to Houston and a run to Australia and the creation of a warped sense of humor that is all my own, I ended up being schooled in San Luis Obispo, California, and in West Point, New York. That is basically the run of the me before the military, but in that time I found time to enjoy boogie boarding at the beach, climbing mountains, riding horses, and in general enjoying the California outdoors. This page covers some of my hobbies and interests—some of the stuff I still do on R&R, my favorite recipes (food is a MAJOR hobby of mine), and some of the interesting things my family members are up to!
My sister Karla is a budding artist who is responsible for all the animations that decorate my page. My sister Karen between being a track celebrity and managing her track website, is a PR major at the University of Florida, Gainesville. My mom teaches Psychology at Cal Poly SLO and still finds time to call her various daughters and ask if they remembered to clean their apartment/dorm. My dad balances his time between coaching, being our Webmaster, cooking delicious meals, and maintaining his figure better than we do! My uncle Jim (uncle Jim in Afghanistan website) is also an Army Engineer, and is currently serving our country in Afghanistan.
