Besides my great gator friends, here are some of the wonderful people I have met along the track and field way!

Kristen Heaston is not only a great shot putter, but a nice person and a former Gator! Not long after this I finally broke her Florida record in the shot and I am sure she was happy for me!:)	Lai Lai Crawford and I go a long way back. She is a very sweet person and a tough competitor! Maybe we can be teammates again some day?
Connie Price-Smith is certainly a 'legend' as an American thrower. However, every one who gets to know her can't help but love her! Connie is now a coach at Southern Illinois University! She is also a key person to know at all of the NCAA Championships! Her husband, Mr. Smith, knows something about track,too! he he!	photo thanks to USATF Official Roger Van Pelt Laura G., Me :) and my old high school team mate Stephanie Brown at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships! 3 All-Americans! Laura and I have both red shirted a season our freshman years and this was Steph's Senior (5th) year. Laura was a Freshman indoors and a sophomore outdoors... and I was a sophomore indoors and a freshman outdoors! Interesting?
My dad says he didn't think there was life before 'Track & Field News'... and I certainly would add that John and Donna Dye have done the same for high school track and cross country!	Yeah...yeah... here's the big tease Janus Robberts! everybody asks... so here he is...
Here I am with many of my former SMU teammates! SMU sponsored a number of 'socials'... so were off to the dance!	One of the nicest people on the planet is Florence Ezeh seen here at Mt. Sac Relays!
Here's a picture of one of my old high school teammates... Sean Shields. He's done great things at Arizona...and ladies...if you are nice... I''ll introduce you to him!	Here's a shot putting legend, Sammy Walker at his famous barbecue place near Dallas, Texas. Sammy went to SMU after setting the high school record in the shot. He also went to the Olympics in weight lifting! He sure can cook fine! Yum! If you drop on by... tell him ,"Karen:) sent you!"
	LaShinda Demus was a legend in California and National High school ranks! She now competes for a fellow SEC school... the University of South Carolina... always tough and ready to compete!
